The Vice Chairman of SCC Visited JunZeJun Shenzhen
February 15, 2017, at the invitation from Mr. Yuan Peihao, Jakob Ragnwaldh, the Vice Chairman of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce (SCC), and Mrs. Dai Wen, the senior lawyer in Mannheimer Swartling, visited JunZeJun Shenzhen office. Mr. Jakob Ragnwaldh then gave an English speech on the theme of "The New Rule of the SCC and The Latest Trend of International Arbitration Development". Our partner lawyers Yuan Peihao, Chen Youchun, Wang Cuiping and other lawyer delegates attended the speech.
The SCC was established in 1917 and is a world-renowned arbitration institution. The SCC consists of a Board and a Secretariat. Every year parties from as many as 30-40 countries use the services of the SCC. At least 120 of the current bilateral investment treaties (BITs) chooses the SCC for resolving disputes between investors and the state.
In the speach, Mr. Jakob Ragnwaldh, Mrs. Dai Wen and JunZeJun lawyers had interesting communication and discussion on some hot subjects in the new rule of the SCC. These subjects included Consolidated Arbitration, Third Party Joinder, Emergency Arbitrator Process, Summary Process and appointment of arbitrator.
