Recently, Shenzhen Securities and Futures Dispute Mediation Center("Mediation Center") organized professional training for the new mediators and issued appointment letters to the new mediators. Chen Xuanxuan, the lawyer of the Securities Business Department, was employed as a new mediator of the Mediation Center for a period of 4 years.

Now in Shenzhen Securities and Futures Dispute Mediation Center, there are 117 professional mediators, who are specialized in the business of capital market, from securities and futures industries. Since the establishment in 2013, under the guidance of the Shenzhen Bureau of China Securities Regulatory Commission, the Mediation Center has accepted more than 6000 consultations, completed more than 2000 cases, and the total value of all reconciliations is more than RMB 3.1 Billion. It has effectively resolved a large amount of contradictions and disputes in the capital market. And such disputes with national influence were singlied out as the archetypal cases. The Mediation Center also makes a positive effort to the diverification of disputes resolution mechanism of which a reliable components it is.

The Shenzhen Securities and Futures Dispute Mediation Center ("Mediation Center") is the first dispute resolution institution in mainland China's capital market that closely integrates mediation and arbitration functions. It is jointly promoted by the Shenzhen Bureau of the China Securities Regulatory Commission and the Shenzhen International Arbitration Institute. It is jointly established by the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration, the Securities Association of Shenzhen, the Shenzhen Futures Association and the Shenzhen Asset Management Association. It is a legal person of public welfare institution approved and registered by the Shenzhen Public Institution Registration Administration. The Mediation Center accepts the business guidance of Shenzhen Bureau of China Securities Regulatory Commission. Shenzhen Stock Exchange, Shanghai Stock Exchange, National Equities Exchange and Quotations (NEEQ, known as the New Third Board), Shenzhen Branch of China Securities Depository and Clearing Corporation Limited, Capital Market Institute, Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration, Shenzhen Listed Companies Association, Securities Association of Shenzhen, Shenzhen Futures Association, Shenzhen Asset Management Association and Shenzhen Qianhai Equity Exchange are the governing units.
