On 26 October, 2017, invited by our partner lawyer Mr. Yuan Peihao, Lecturer of Peking university school of transnational law（STL）Ms. Yi Seul Kim, visited Junzejun Law Offices（Shenzhen）and gave a lecture on ‘Legal Document drafting and reviewing in Cross-border Transaction’. Our representatives of young lawyers attended the lecture, which was hosted by Mr.Yuan Peihao. 

 

Ms. Yi Seul Kim earned her LL.M. from Harvard Law School and her J.D. and J.M. from Peking University School of Transnational Law, where she now served as a lecturer. She teaches seminars on document drafting in cross-border transaction and food safety law. 

 

 

In the lecture, Ms.Yi Seul Kim firstly explained common mistakes frequently aroused in legal documents drafted by non-native English speakers and introduced her skills in contract drafting and reviewing. She then continued to conduct in-depth exploration on some significant topics including specific structures of English legal documents, wording principles in legal English and confusing legal expressions. Finally, our lawyers exchanged their opinions on some practical problems with Ms.Yi Seul Kim.
