Ms. Tan specializes in the areas of Commercial Dispute Resolution, Financial Dispute Resolution, International Arbitration, Engineering Contract Disputes, and Compliance (anti-corruption, export control, data security).

Ms. Tan represented a large number of Chinese and foreign enterprises in civil and commercial arbitration and litigation cases in the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission, Beijing Arbitration Commission and local courts, relating to equity investment, equity repurchase, equity and asset transfer, debt financing, joint venture exit, foreign trade disputes, bank loans, fund supervision, financial leasing, financing trade, product procurement contracts, consulting contracts, technical service contracts, engineering contracts, architectural design contracts, commercial real estate leasing, software licensing, copyright licensing, channel disputes, etc., and represented a great number of asset investigation and enforcement cases. In 2018, Ms. Tan and team completed the “China’s practice on investment arbitration”.

In addition, Ms. Tan provides advice and services to local governments and enterprises on compliance such as anti-corruption, trade compliance, and data security, etc.. Ms. Tan participated in the compliance projects of central enterprises and state-owned enterprises, and wrote compliance guidelines, compliance cases, and compliance training materials; Ms. Tan provides services to domestic and foreign clients relating to information network industry market access, overseas call centers, value-added telecommunications services and licensing, cloud services, data privacy and data security, and data cross-border transmission and other compliance consulting. As one of the authors, Ms. Tan has written books such as “Guidelines for Export Control Compliance of Chinese Enterprises”, “Guidelines for Anti-Corruption and Anti-Commercial Bribery of Chinese Enterprises”, “Guidelines for Overseas Compliance for Chinese Enterprises”, some of which were published and scheduled for publication.
